Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has set the tentative kick-off date for the 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season on 17th October 2020.

This was revealed by Decolas Kiiza, the FUFA Deputy CEO in charge of Football on Wednesday, 10th June 2020.

Kiiza was addressing the media moments after FUFA’s consultative meeting with the StarTimes Uganda Premier league and the Uganda Premier League board members at Mengo in Kampala.

He hinted on the provision of fulfillment for the grueling club licensing process and the normalization of the health situation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“When the health situation normalizes, we shall kick off the 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League on 17th June 2020. The period for the club licensing will start on 22nd June to 10th September 2020” Kiiza remarked.
