Woman gives birth in a boat while seeking medicare

Flavia Nakiboneka a resident of Bubeke Lwazi – a Landing site in Bubeke Sub County, Kalangala District gave birth to a baby

She now lives in a thatched house at Bubeke Lwazi Landing Site with out food, clothing and other basic requirements.

Her delivery in a wooden boat on a lake, being unsual delivery left her with back pain, with no resources to fend for the young child.

Also, the husband, who is also a fisherman within the area neglected the family, neither does he provide basic requirements.

Just five days after delivery, she now has to go to desperately look for food to care for her little baby.

Nakiboneka never had resources to hire a medical officer to help her deliver.

An appeal to all world citizens for a helping hand. On such mother’s day, let’s remember such mother’s around the world and help support Flavia Nakiboneka to ensure that she can feed the newly born and help in offering basic needs and services.
