Wakiso Giants Football Club officially unveiled Ibrahim “Owen” Kasule as their first signing prior to the 2020/21.
Kasule, a creative midfielder was announced via the club’s official website on Tuesday, 16th June 2020.
“It is a big step in my career and am looking forward to utilising the opportunity well I want to thank my previous clubs especially KJT for everything they have done for me. Not so many clubs would show trust to a player who hasn’t tasted top tier football yet but am ready and I can’t wait to start to repay that on the pitch. I have worked hard to get to this moment and I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success to this club.” Kasule noted as quoted by the Wakiso Giants website.
The club christened as the “Purple Sharks” is reportedly to have extended the court of senior player Kareem Ndugwa, a striker who finished with five goals in the previous 2019/2020 season.
Meanwhile, it is believed that Wakiso Giants agreed initial talks with Douglas Bamweyana as head coach.
Wakiso Giants host their home matches at Wakisha Resource Center in hitherto refereed to as the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso Town.
