The reigning Star Times Uganda Premier League champions Vipers Sports Club has entered the domestic players’ transfer market.
Christened as the “Venoms”, Vipers who have won the league trophy four times announced the arrival of two players, albeit signed from their rival camps.
First was left back Dissan Galiwango, a former captain at Express and then offensive midfielder Ibrahim Orit.
The two players are expected to beef up the side currently coached by Fred Kajoba Kisitu prior to the commencement of the new season that will tentatively kick off on 27th October 2020.
“Orit and Galiwango are very good players whom I believe will add value to the squad we have” Kajoba disclosed.
Meanwhile, Entebbe Post has established that Vipers is working around the corner to bring on board Jamil Kalisa from Bright Stars, free agent Yunus Ssentamu and defender Mustafa Mujjuzi.
Vipers were declared champions of the 2019/20 Star Times Uganda Premier League season having amassed 54 points off 25 matches as the football season was abruptly cut short by the Coronavirus pandemic.
