Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre(UWEC) has received an automatic sanitizing booth from Alam Group of Companies on Wednesday.
This has been done in an effort to curb the spread of the novel corona virus disease- COVID-19 and ensure the safety of the guests at the Entebbe based zoo and aquaria.
The machine acts as a body disinfectant on people’s bodies and clothing. It is pitched strategically at the UWEC security check point. Persons stream in and out as the cold misty spray from the walls with disinfectants gives them a safety welcome.
According to Eric Ntalo who is the public relations officer at UWEC, the new acquisition will help them safety of the guests and the animals.
The booth was handed over to the UWEC Executive Director Dr.Musinguzi by Rajesh Kumar, Executive Director Alam Group of Companies.
Alam Group of Companies has been in existence for over half a century and is primarily involved in the building and construction industry among other business verticals.
