UPPC donates equipment worth millions of Shillings to Entebbe Police Division

Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation(UPPC) delivered donations to the Entebbe Police Division on Wednesday to help boost the Force’s day to day operations given the prevailing times in the country.

The donation including a Colour digital printer, temperature guns, sanitizers, masks cost the national publishers over 10 million.

While handing over the donation to Entebbe District Police Commander ASP Micheal Kasigire, UPPC Director, Professor Tom Davis Wasswa said that the donation is a continuation of their long partnership with the Uganda police.

“Given the trying times of COVID-19, it’s our social corporate responsibility to support the Police because they have not taken a day off regardless of the risk.” Wasswa says

ASP Kasigire appreciated the wonderful gesture from UPPC, and hopes this will be a great motivation for them and as well aid them in executing their work with ease.

UPPC was established in 1902 as a Government Printer, UPPC handles both governmental and private sector printing and publishing such as;The Uganda Gazette, Uganda Constitution, Standing orders and other legal documents.
