Ugandans in Kampala and Entebbe are anxiously waiting for the return of Uganda’s music star Edrisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo this Friday.
Eddy Kenzo has since the inception of a lockdown on March 23rd been crying out for help from the authorities in Uganda to allow him return. He had been locked down in Abidjan, city of Ivory Coast.
However, the pop star will set off from Abidjan on Friday 24th July aboard Uganda airlines to Entebbe International airport.
However, several of his fans are anxiously waiting for the return of the musician this Friday.
Sources within Kenzo’s family and his close allies indicate that several fans have started procuring masks with Kenzo’s initials to show solidarity with him.
“Actually, we shall come to Entebbe international airport welcome him,” Richard Kasirye, one of his fans told Entebbe Post.
Also, several musicians Entebbe Post has spoken too say, they would be profoundly honored to welcome back a colleague within the field.
It is however not clear if security has cleared the gathering at Entebbe International Airport despite the COVID 19 standard operating procedures put in place by government.
