Amidst various challenges Uganda has been able to register notable success in the triumph against the Nobel Corona Virus across the globe with only 55 cases registered and 28 recoveries and no death occurrence yet.
Today at Entebbe General Hospital 10 patients have been Discharged. This lot is made up of 5 children from the Watoto Children’s Choir and 3 of their caretakers, One bodaboda cyclist from Kisubi and One man from Kalangala.
However the person from Kalangala has been retained with preparations for his resettlement are still underway, this is due to the fact water transport is not operational at the moment but the Ministry of Health is working towards his resettlement.
The discharge event was duly commissioned by State Minister for Primary Health Care-Dr Joyce Moriku Kadicu, and graced by other dignitaries from the Ministry of health.
“1 of the 10 recovered patients will be retained as we figure out how to resettle him back to Kalangala, since water transport is currently down. Our pyschosocial team will advance to Kalangala to prepare the community so that they will be able to receive him well.”Dr. Muwanga told Entebbe Post
” I have been informed that we have failed to ascertain how one Bodaboda person contracted the virus but I believe it was out of the process of his work, we arevery happy tha he has recovered and we aresending back home.” Hon. Joyce Kadicu Moriku stated
