Uganda, other countries remain static in latest FIFA Rankings

With no international footballing action across the world because of the Coronavirus Pandemic since March 2020, the latest FIFA Rankings have obviously remained the same.

Virtually, all the 211 FIFA Member Associations have remained in their respective positions since the start of the year.

With 1321 points, Uganda has stayed put in the 77th position, 15th on the African continent and the by far the best in East and Central African region.

In the world, Belgium stays aloft the leaderboard.

France, Brazil, England and Uruguay take the respective top five slots.

Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Argentina and Colombia complete the top ten.

In Africa, Senegal is best placed, followed by Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali and DR Congo as the top ten ranked teams.

The rankings are expected to remain the same for June, July and possibly September until FIFA blesses international competitions again, of course after consultations with the World Health Organization (WHO).
