Airbus, the international manufacturer of commercial aircraft, helicopters, military transports, satellites and launch vehicles has released images of the Uganda Airlines Airbus A330 Neo jets after a paint job that are set to join the national carriers fleet which already has four bombardiers jets.
Recently during the celebration of Uganda Airlines one year anniversary, the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) Mr. Cornwell Muleya said the two jets which are expected to arrive in December will eneble the airline expand it’s network to the intercontinental routes to Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Currently the national carrier is carrying out works to acquire the 18 routes required for Africa where it’s operating.
Uganda airlines inaugural flight was operated from Entebbe International Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi Kenya on 27 August last year, it carried out its first commercial flights to Nairobi and Juba respectively.
