Express Football Club has signed goalkeeper Cryspus Kusiima on a two year deal.
The goalkeeper was officially unveiled on Monday, 10th August 2020 via the club’s social media platforms.
“I am happy to join this great club and I can not wait to get started” Kusiima noted.
He joins as a free agent from Tooro United after club was also relegated following a dismissal performance last season.
Kusiima reunites with head coach Richard Wasswa Bbosa whom he worked with at Tooro United before Bbosa stepped aside citing unpalatable working conditions.
He joins the six time Uganda Premier League goalkeeping department that also has Mathias Muwanga.
The Red Eagles released two goalkeepers Joshua Adea and Tonny Kyamera last season, among the 18 players shown the exit door.
Express finished 9th on the log last season with 31 points from 25 games.
The 2020-21 Uganda Premier League season is set to kick off on 19th October 2020 should the Coronavirus situation have stabilized by then.
