While marking the start of the Mission Week at St. Apollo Kivebulaya Church at Abaita Ababiri under Namirembe Diocese Rev Samuel Muwonge appealed to the general public to pray for the country during a trying time when the country is facing a number of problems from the economy and security issues.
He outlined a number of occurrences across the country like the locust outbreak in Northern Uganda, the high rates of crime and the moral decay during this service.
The Church of Uganda is fundraising for the Mission House that will house major offices for the Namirembe Diocese.
