Police in Jinja on Tuesday evening sermoned and interrogated a local comedian Swengere and three Jinja Journalists for hosting People Power Principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.
Police also accuses the comedian for letting Bobi Wine sleep at his home while on his visit to Jinja.
The interrogated Journalists included Alton Kasolo and Twahil Ddamulira.
Mr Kyagulanyi appeared in Jinja last week, rallied support against the current NRM regime that has projected power since January 1986.
Jackie Nambogga, a Board Member of the Human Rights Network for Journalists Uganda told Entebbe Post that the organization together with a host of other media personnel worked hard to ensure that the Journalists are released.
The interrogation comes days after Mr Twahil Ddamulira, a show host at Baba TV was arrested and detained by police in Jinja for hosting Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine, a Ugandan Pop star has for the past three years risen to the country’s Political limelight for daring to unseat the current Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
