And chances are high that new signing Donny Van De Beek will make his official Manchester Debut against Crystal Palace after he was involved in the defeat away to Villa in a preseason friendly. Palace comes into this game with a win in their season opener against Southampton.
Manchester City will ignite their season away to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night, and are contenders with new defense reinforcements of Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres who joined from Bournemouth and Valencia respectively.
Wolves go into this match as an improved side after beating Sheffield United in their season opener and sit in the 5th spot ahead of champions Liverpool.
Table leaders Arsenal host Westham United in the London Derby, as newcomers Leeds United and Fulham face off at Elland Road. Everton will be hoping to extend their winning streak against returnees West Bromwich Albion.
Elsewhere Southampton host Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs, Brighton and Hove Albion visit Newcastle United and Leicester City go up against Burnely and Sheffield United play Aston Villa on Monday.
All eyes will be on Liverpool’s away match to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Liverpool nearly suffered an opening day defeat in the 7 goal thriller against the newly promoted Leeds United side.
