Parliament hires office space for Mps on Sudhir Ruparelia’s kingdom mall

The assistant director communications and Public Affairs at parliament, Helen Nanteza Kawesa has revealed that parliament has secured one wing at the multi billion Kingdom Kampala mall and shopping complex to house upto 323 MPs offices at UGX 800M monthly.

Nanteza said the August house is also in the process of procuring office furniture so that the Mps do their work comfortably as business for the 11th Parliament takes shape.

“We are renting space at Kampala Kingdom building, and we are in the process of procuring the furniture,” Kawesa said

The 11th Parliament has 529 MPs who were all sworn in last week and are ready to transact Parliament business with immediate effect.
