Museveni maintains curfew, boda bodas arcades allowed to work

President Yoweri Museveni has maintained the curfew time between 7.00 pm and 5.30 am while maintaining the different standard operating procedures.

Here are some of the directives.

Curfew time maintained at 7.00 pm up to 5.30 am, SOPs must be maintained.

Boda Bodas allowed to up to 18.00 hours and will move with one passenger. Both the passenger and rider must all strictly maintain SOPs.

Reopens Kikuubo and pathways should be maintained.

Minister for Kampala, RCC, and KCCA should oversee. Wholesalers and traders asked to adapt to e commerce.

Malls, arcades and business centers will be opened, have compliance officers with dedicated entry and exist and compliance officers must be instituted. “Failure to conform to any of the above shall lead to closure,”

People at burials should not exceed 20 people as immunization is ensured.

Places of worship will remain closed for the next sixty days. They are encouraged to use virtual prayers.

Music concerts are allowed to operate virtually as bars will remain closed for the next 42 days.

Restaurants are allowed to open with strict SOPs.

Public transport has been allowed to move with strictly 50% passenger capacity. “There must not be air conditioning of the taxis and buses,” he says.
