Millions lost as fire guts Kyebando businesses
Millions worth of merchandise and other properties have been lost in Kyebando, a Kampala suburb off the Northern Bypass.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire in the area.
Residents are accusing the Fire and safety unit for delaying to reach the venue to put out the fire.
Kyebando slum area houses more than 20,000 people most of whom operate small scale businesses.
Entebbe Post is yet to ascertain the magnitude of the losses incurred by the residents and businessmen in the area.
