An intent to sue musician Ronald Mayinja by Media Lab, a production facility in Entebbe has been drafted.
Mayinja is accused by the former for using content that belongs to the company without consulting the owners, neither did he pay.
The content includes videos of the just finished Kitooro Market taken by Media Lab but used in Mayinja’ss new Museveni praise song “Akalulu”.
“our client hereby demands that you cease and desist from further copyright infringement by immediately pulling down the video,” part of the intent to sue reads.
Media Lab also demands that Mayinja immediately apologizes to the company and compesates up to Ugx 350 million for damages.
Ronald Mayinja has not picked our telephone calls for a comment on the matter.
