Marketing: Express Football Club kicks off discount jersey sales’ campaign

Football, like many sporting disciplines entails aggressive marketing and promotion gimmicks.

It is through these various promotion and marketing strategies that prospective clients, fans, associate clubs and corporate companies are lured on board to boost the brand further.

In a bid to widen the fan base, spread the Express FC gospel and take the club brand to greater heights, the “Mukwano Gw’abangi” christened entity has started the initiative of selling the club jerseys at subsided prices.

The Red Army is thus politely tasked to embrace the latest promotion that will not only boost the club’s financial coffers, but also, widen the scoop of the club who seek to claim their 7th league title in as many years.

Patricia “Trisha” Ayebare, the club’s senior administrator calls upon the ardent fans to buy the treasured jerseys that are now at a discounted price of Ug.shs 35,000, bearing in mind the pressing economic recession brought about the Coronavirus pandemic since the start of the year, 2020.

“I can confirm that the off season jersey sales campaign is on. I would like to inform all of our lovely faithful fans to purchase the replicas (for last season) which we have put up on sale on a discounted price of Ugx 35,000shs. The Fans have been asking for the replicas so we decided we make it affordable in relation with the current economic times that have been caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic” Ayebare noted.

Express fans are urged to get the jerseys from Zaabu consultants office on 3rd floor room 304 Post Office Building.

Alternatively, they can secure these jerseys from the official club offices located on plot 45 Bukoto street in Kampala.

Besides marketing beef up, Express’ internal organization and behind the scene preparations have witnessed the board confirm the technical and administrative wings of the 1957 founded club.

Richard Wasswa Bbosa was confirmed head coach on a three year tenure alongside his working back room staff that has James Odoch (assistant), Ayub Balyjusa (trainer), Hellen Buteme (strength and conditioning) and Samuel Kawalya (goalkeeping coach).

Isaac Mwesigwa is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Peter Tabu as the head of communications and media.
