Lydia Natoolo: NRM exported election fraud to UNAA election
UNAA Presidential candidate Lydia Natoolo has lushed the ruling Government – NRM and it’s Chairperson Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for setting a bad example in exporting election fraud to the Uganda North American Association.
Here is her statement.
Dear Comrades,
I am so grateful to each and everyone of you. Thank you for the fight and support.
Everyday you spent here and all your efforts are not in vain.
On Sunday, we won the vote but orders came from the Junta that UNAA cannot leave Nairuba’s hands and so it was.
It is painful to see and witness an invisible hand controlling both home in Uganda and in the diaspora.
Sometimes I wonder how hopeless some Ugandans are. How a few dollars can rule and govern our conscious.
It has been a few heavy days on my end.
I am sad and angry but that will not deter us from the cause we started.
Just like what happened in Uganda is exactly what happened here.
At the eleventh hour, a list was given to the EC Chair and she read out names.
My entire Executive did not win which is sad.
They left credible and intelligent people out and gave the win to mediocrity.
The good thing, we have the Council. We have 12 members from our team who won and they have only 6.
We will control the Council and TEAMUNITY is going to continue to do the job of serving the community.
My heart is not at peace but I know that one day all this too shall pass.
We have a bigger job to do not only in Uganda but also in the diaspora.
I will stay in touch with you all.
Terikuzikiza.
This has not only left me questioning a lot but also empowered me to keep the fight.
We can’t and we will not let one person control the way of life and our communities in such a way.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ALL
THE WIN WAS OURS
IT IS NOT OVER YET
BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL
IN SERVICE 🙏🏾
Lydia.
