KCCA Star Yasser Mugerwa gives back to Vulnerable child in poor health

One of the latest KCCA signings Yasser Mugerwa has donated food items to a seven year old sickle cells victim Martin Katongole.

Katongole, a resident of Lugonjo in Entebbe Municipality has been struggling with lack of utilities, food and the much needed medicare.

“I am thankful that someone can think about people like me,” Katongole told Entebbe Post.

On his part, Yasser Mugerwa said, he had been touched by Katongole’s situation and thus decided to offer help.

“I urge all sportsmen and women to share the little they have with the community since many young children grow looking up to us,” he said.

Mugerwa, a Uganda Cranes star recently signed for Kampala Capital City Authority – KCCA FC, disregarding Express FC interest in the player joining the Wankulukuku based Uganda Premier League Champions.

The midfielder has been playing for the Ethiopian Sidama Buna.

His will to donate to the seven year old Katongole reinvigorated the will of many people in the nearby society to push and advance for better services for such children and people with chronic illnesses.
