Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club has secured the services of exciting midfielder Bright Anukani.
The 19 year old play maker agreed terms with the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions and was officially unveiled on the club’s official TV show on Sanyuka Television.
“This is a dream come true to play at the one of the best clubs in Uganda” Anukani who signed a one year deal noted.
He transfers from Proline Football Club that was relegated to the second division (FUFA Big League).
Anukani had a great 2019 season playing in the CAF Confederation Cup, Uganda U-20 team as well as winning the 2019 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup with Uganda Cranes.
He joins other club signings as Denis Iguma (defender), Charles Lwanga (striker) as well as midfielders; Italian Stefano Mazengo Loro and Ashraf Mugume.
The club which is coached by Mike Hilary Mutebi also reportedly eyes Pius Obuya, Brian Aheebwa and Andrew Kigozi.
The new Uganda Premier League season (2020/21) will kick off in October 2020 should the sports suspension be lifted by the head of state, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
