Expectant Mothers at Kajansi Health Center IV in Kajansi Town Council Wakiso District have been given Labor Ward reliefs, to enable them have safe and successful child deliveries.
Items like cotton wool, labor Knives, Gloves and others were collected by the Arise Women International a women led NGO from Lweza-Kajansi along Entebbe Road, to save them from embarrassments.
Pastor Anet Kyomuhendo Tugume, the senior Pastor at Arise Guest Center Church Lweza-Kajansi, led the Delegation to the Government Hospital, to help over 70 expectant mothers at this facility.
Kyomuhendo said that ‘’while in quarantine holiday at home, she was approached by a dee day mother, for help to get relief for the labor ward after 2 months, I was forced to get Ugx 20000 shs, for her go get hospital materials, that forced her to donate the reliefs to others too’’.
On behalf of the Kajansi Health Center facility, the head maternity section Nurse Nantale Prossy, gave the NGO leaders a vote of thanks, and appealed to all well wishers to give back to the mothers who always yearn for support.
