While in Kyankwanzi last week, President Museveni said, some people in the Muhoozi Kainerugaba Movement are self seeking, each with his or her own interests and not the common goal of the MK Movement.

The MK Movement was initiated in replication of President Museveni’s son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba whom many of the members of the movement want to replace his father, Gen Kaguta Museveni as President of Uganda.

The comments by President Museveni left many of the people wondering who’s self seeking within the Movement which has been going around the country, visiting populations while marketing the MK Movement ideology.

However, Kabanda, in an interview at Radio 4 in Kampala said, just like many thieves are hiding in NRM for safety, there are also self seekers in the MK Movement who need to be wiped out.

Kabanda also said, they intend to make sure that all people within the country and taught about the movement and sell their agenda to the people.

“It is true and I agree with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni that some individuals around Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba are pushing for selfish interests just like it is the case in the NRM. We will however continue schooling them on the ideology of the MK Movement.” He said, likening the self seekers in MK Movement to the “Mabaati thieves in NRM.

Kabanda is not the first person to say, many thieves are hiding in NRM for safety. Several other Politicians including senior NRM officials have severally said, many people after looting from the public join NRM for safety.
