Kabaka Mutebi returns to Kingdom, healthier

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has returned to the country after months of official work abroad.

The healthy King returned through Entebbe International Airport on Friday.

He was welcomed by the first Deputy Katikiro, Owek Dr. Twaha Kawaase at the airport and headed to his palace.

The King who looked more healthy, has for the past years been rumored sick and in dire situation.

Opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine in a tweet recently prayed that the Kabaka heals and returns to shame all enemies within and outside the Kingdom.

However, in a tween by the Kingdom Television Station BBS Terefayina, the King was abroad on official duties.

“Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has safely returned to his kingdom from out side countries where he has been on official duties. The King returned on Friday and was welcomed by the First Deputy Katikiro Dr. Twaha Kawaase on behalf of Owek Charles Peter Mayiga.” the tweet reads.

There have also been speculation on whether the Kabaka will attend the “Kabaka birthday run” organized by the Kingdom to improve health service delivery within Buganda.
