Athlete Joshua Cheptegei together with his teammates Stephen Kisa and Victor Kiplgat have reached Ugandan soil after taking part in the World Half Marathon in Poland.
The trio returned home on Monday aboard a Kenya Airways flight and we’re received by officials from the National Council of Sports.
Joshua Cheptegei informed Entebbe Post that he is very happy about his world record and he is raring to go again.
Cheptegei has overwhelmingly smashed two world records in barely 2 months, but he came fourth in the half marathon behind fellow Ugandan Jacob Kiplimo who won Gold in Poland.
Jacob Kiplimo is set to return home on Wednesday together with the rest of the Ugandan Team.
