Entebbe Indian Community donates to Covid 19 taskforce

The Indian community in Entebbe, led by Ms Jagruti Patel the proprietor of Four points and Haresh Patel, Parekh Amrish and Dilip K Valandi have donated 500 foodstuffs hampers, to be distributed to 500 vulnerable families.

“As humans it’s our responsibility to help the community and it’s our pleasure to serve the community and this is what we are willing to do with the help of the mayor and RDC” Ms Jagruti Patel said.  

The Entebbe Sub District Deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Hajji Noor Njuki Mbabali who received the donated food items at his office on Monday, April 27, 2020 pledged to deliver the food to the vulnerable people in Entebbe.

“We are grateful for the kind giving heart from all the residents in Entebbe and we shall deliver the food” he said.

The group that handed over the donations represented other donators who included K-Hotels, Raj Prakash, Rakesh Patel, Pragnesh Patel, Hemendera Patel and other Entebbe Indian residents.

The mayor of Entebbe Mr Vincent Kayanja during the handover urged for more donations from the public to help the task force in the distribution of food.
