Former First Bank FC defender Daniel Cyrus Kalu has linked up with Northern Cyprus’s KTFF league side Hamitköy on a one-year deal, reports Entebbe Post.
Kalu joined the Northern Cyprus based side as a free agent.
The towering central defender, agreed terms with Hamitköy alongside his representative, Allele Okafor who is a Nigerian registered NFF/FIFA licensed Player’s.
“I felt like it would be a great thing for me, to explore and to experience new things and a new challenge,” Kalu told Entebbe Post website.
“That is why I am here, to help the team to get to all their targets, because it is an amazing club with so much ambition.
The Nigerian youngster is expected to bolster Hamitköy’s defence ahead of the start of the 2019/2020 season.
The 20-year-old previously had stints with Nigerian side, F.C. Ebede and First Bank FC.
