Nyamityobora Football Club, a second division outfit has completed the signing of creative midfielder Meddie Muhammed Matovu.
The crafty player previously played for Western region entity Rushere signed a two year deal with the side nick-named as “Abanyakare”.
The player was officially unveiled by the newly appointed Nyamityobora Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Saddam Mugaru.
He joins a bandwagon of other players signed already that include; Brian Nyabwina, Mubarak Kakooza, Juma Sabiti, Wahabu Lwanga and Ismail Faizol Aliganyira.
Veteran coach Richard Makumbi will coach Nyamityobora, assisted by his own son, Denis Kiyimba.
During the previous season in the FUFA Big League, Nyamityobora finished in 5th place having amassed 13 points.
The season was ended prematurely because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
FUFA has tentatively set the 29th October 2020 as the kick-off date for second division football should the Coronavirus situation improve.
